Mixed Emotions

Sorry for not posting much lately. I've been in a state of turmoil and whatnot. I made this mostly to express my mixed feeling on several issues in my life right now.

So...
Digital painting analysis.
I am relatively proud of this. I think I need a better way of blending, though. This picture came out unexpectedly BRIGHT. It was supposed to have a lot of contrast, with the sun and clouds, and then the rain and rainbow. I made the eyes of the person blank to make the person seem a bit more... arbitrarily chosen?
I used a lot of secondary colours in this. I think the emotions came through much clearer in the lineart. If people want, I may post it.
I love how the hair and lips came out. The thumbnail version of the hair looks exquisite, in my opinion. So, to wrap up, please comment with your critiques. Thank you.
